ABOUT US

Payal Punatar earned her Bachelors of Art (BA) degree in both Psychology and Art History from Austin College in Sherman, Texas. She obtained her Masters of Science (MS) degree in Rehab Counseling from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Texas.  

Her internship and post graduate work were completed at Children's Medical Center in Dallas, Texas at the Eugene McDermott Center for Pain Management and the City House (Collin Intervention to Youth).  

 

For over fifteen years, Payal has counseled children and individuals with health issues and focused on a wide variety of issues from PTSD, depression, anxiety, behavior issues and self-esteem. In private practice she continues to help clients cope with issues using her vast background and proven knowledge with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Reality Therapy to provide solution focused treatment plans to her clients.  

Her vast corporate experience over the course of her career has positioned her well as one of the leaders in clients seeking Vocational Services. Payal is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas, a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC) and a Certified Ergonomic Assessment Specialist (CEAS). As a member of the Texas Counseling Association and the Collin County Psychological Association as well as the US Business Leadership Network (USBLN), Payal continues to leverage her knowledge on leading edge vocational and therapy services for her clients.
